FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Troublemakers and Gossipers are the same type of people and here's what the Bible has to say about them...

Proverbs 16:28 (NLT)
"A troublemaker plants seeds of strife; gossip separates the best of friends"

It would be a terrible thing to leave this earth and Proverbs 16:28 was a person's life story!

I cringe on the inside when someone comes to me planting those seemingly innocuous "seeds" under the guise that they wanted to keep me abreast of what's really going on! Yes, there are many times when I listen to the gossip and notice that there has never been a time when those seeds given to me resulted in positive thoughts about the person or situation, NEVER. I also notice that I tolerate gossip and the like when I am mentally exhausted and not "sharpened" in my daily spiritual life. Having said this, if I am truly walking in the spirit, God will reveal his 100%truth for my life in all situations that gossip could never reveal!!

Lastly, whenever a person talks too much, that is another red flag. As the scripture says in Proverbs 10:19, "When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise."
